If you are looking for a home survey in the Cotswolds, our team can help you.
The Cotswolds are a range of hills in southwestern and west-central England, stretching from the border’s regions of South Warwickshire, through West Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, with parts of Wiltshire, Bathe and Northeast Somerset.
Designated an Area of Outstanding Beauty, it is no wonder the Cotswolds are a sought-after area, popular with Royals and A listers. Its picturesque post-card villages, unspoilt scenic landscapes, rich cultural heritage, stunning properties, and laid-back lifestyle is extremely attractive.
The Cotswolds offer a variety of high-end properties many constructed from the distinctive, famous locally mined, golden-fudged limestone, known as Cotswold Stone.
There is a diverse architectural heritage from traditional quaint cottages, with thatched roofs offering a characteristic rustic appeal, to Grade II listed properties dating back to the Tudor times and Grade I listed buildings dating back to the Saxons, with the original Norman doorways and medieval windows. This is contrasted with grand country estates, modern barn conversions and eco-homes.

RICS Home Valuation Level 1
Our Level 1 valuation report is a detailed document that advises on the current market value of the property and is for statutory purposes only.

RICS Home Survey Level 2
This survey covers the main issues pertinent to the majority of conventional housing in the UK. A Level 2 survey should be ample for the large majority of homes built during the last 100 years.

RICS Home Survey Level 3
Appropriate for more complex, larger or older properties, listed buildings and those in need of structural repair. We will advise you to obtain a Level 3 survey if you are either buying a house pre-1850, it is very substantial or the structural integrity of the building may be in doubt.
What our clients say
The survey undertaken by Jonathan revealed structural issues with boundary and retaining walls. After further investigations and obtaining quotes for the work, we negotiated a purchase price reduction of £40,000.
